We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented International Business Development Manager to support our company's global expansion efforts and maximize revenue opportunities through franchising.

This individual will collaborate with the EVP of Growth to identify new market opportunities, analyze market trends, and facilitate the implementation of international expansion strategies. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has excellent research and analytical skills, and is able to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify potential target markets for international expansion.
  • Collect and analyze data on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the development of market entry strategies, including market prioritization, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate to create comprehensive business plans and financial models for new market entry.
  • Support the coordination and execution of market entry activities, including market visits, trade shows, and business meetings.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with prospective franchisees, international partners, and stakeholders to drive new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure smooth execution of international growth initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of international growth projects, highlighting key insights, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, managing documentation, and maintaining project schedules.
  • Help conduct due diligence on potential franchisees, evaluate their financial and operational capabilities, and ensure alignment with the company's values and standards.
  • Stay updated on global market trends, industry developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements relevant to international expansion, providing insights and recommendations to EVP of Growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, marketing, or a related field, preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within an international business environment.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Proficiency in market research techniques and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of international business practices, market entry strategies, and cultural sensitivities.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions

Working environment is generally an office setting, utilizing a laptop and cell phone.

The preferred position is in-house at the Lindon, UT headquarters location. Also accepting remote employees.
