Job Description:

  • Sales consultation to gain new business with voice, call center, messaging and data solutions products and carrier services with primary focus in a designated region.
  • Make prospecting telephone calls and setting appointments with potential customers, consistently adding new prospects and clients to the sales funnel.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business with customers and potential customers in the assigned area/vertical to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and revenue growth through effective sales and services.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency in all products offered through Lantana including all offerings from represented manufacturers as well as the professional services supplied by Lantana.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales process by identifying new opportunities, presenting the Lantana solution and maintaining awareness of competitor activities.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to grow business and find relationships with new clients.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to penetrate new accounts.
  • Accurately manage a multi-period sales forecast, including product and services bookings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven prospecting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • 2 years of sales experience in quota-driven environment
  • Ability to conduct high level technology and business discussions with potential clients.
  • Ability to manage internal and external resources.
  • Experience with cloud-based telephony products such as UCaaS, data services and CRM preferred.

Compensation/Benefits:

Starting salary: Salary ($50,000/yr) + up to $75,000 in commission, annually; medical, dental, vision & life coverage, 401K and PTO
