The Role:
This role drives business. It touches every facet of the company (Finance, Sales, Product teams, etc.) to move innovation and continuous improvement forward. You will have the opportunity to find best practices and new opportunities for reporting and processes. This position will provide guidance, background information and assistance to leadership for the development of new reports and the modification and interpretation of existing reports. You will troubleshoot errors, analyze data, and help maintain data integrity, (including testing and documenting data anomalies). This role offers the exciting ability to impact Company-wide metrics and reporting dashboards, which align with business strategy, using benchmarking and best practices as guiding standards.
About You:
You have strong consultative, critical thinking and analytic skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups. You are able to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects to meet tight deadlines.
Acceptable Experience and Training:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in relevant field from four-year college or university highly preferred. Three or more years of experience with reporting and analysis required. Three or more years of relevant work experience required. Experience in statistical analysis and data science methodology. Experience in advanced trend analysis, data mining and ability to interpret data to provide recommendations to drive key business decisions required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine and evaluate purpose and content of business reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and control: Review reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.
- Write advanced and complex queries, using programming language, with proper criteria, raw data and applying conditions.
- Create executive level reporting for projects, as well as daily, weekly and monthly reports to track operational metrics.
- Consult with end users on complex reporting solutions. Consult with end user to determine client reporting needs as to how data can be provided to support business decisions.
- Analyze data and other information in order to conceptualize and define operational problems and/or improvement opportunities; plan and execute analysis, often examining data and other information to perform root cause analysis and develop an impact/risk assessment. Ability to move beyond compiling data and tell the story behind the numbers.
- Provide technical and analytical support to solve a wide range of complex problems and, using sound analysis techniques, determine gaps in the business and provide reporting support that will help alleviate issues in the business.
- Identify reporting opportunities and build automated reports.
- Experience in GAP analysis, root cause analysis, forecasting, KPI analysis, reporting schemas, reporting dashboard creation, data mapping.
- Analyze data using tools and prepare recommendations and reports to drive high-impact process improvement.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Provide analytical support for special projects.
- Schedule, design and execute standard and ad-hoc reports. Ensure data quality and usefulness of standard and ad-hoc reports in comparison with requests.
- Document explanations of data and implications of data analyses to users expressing and interpreting technical terminology into non-technical language.
- Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.
- Automate and/or eliminate personnel bandwidth constraints for existing and future reporting outputs.

Ability and desire to represent and explain complex models of data analysis to operation staff, leadership and front-line staff in a familiar and non-technical language.

Ability to be highly organized with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Skill in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making.
Solid experience working with team members in multiple time zones.
Expert ability to be highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention to detail.
Expert knowledge with designing, testing and validating reports and methods for accuracy.
Expert verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Expert knowledge of programming language (e.g. VBA, SQL, HTML).
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio), Google applications (mail, sheets, drives), Crystal Reports, Adobe, SQL Server/Developer, Visual Basic.
Expert knowledge of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Qlik).
Expert knowledge of speech/text analytics software (e.g. Topbox, Call Miner, Nuance).
Expert knowledge of Business Objects SAP Hana.
Expert knowledge at identifying, prioritizing, and managing important tasks/issues with accuracy and focusing on detail. Adept at simultaneously balancing numerous tasks and projects.
- Must be able to provide portfolio of reporting, automation, and technical work that aligns with the above requirements.
- This position will be located in the Denver metro area. Hybrid work arrangement.
- Limited travel to company-owned Fabrication facilities

Total Compensation Range: $78,000 - $91,000
