InovaBed is in search of a Raw Materials Buyer/Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our growing team! Position can start ASAP. Our business is fast paced and requires someone who can multitask and is comfortable with modern day online technology and software programs. This position is full-time, requiring a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, hours are slightly flexible (approx. 7am-3:30pm), opportunities for Overtime exist. Responsibility & Goals –

-Assist with job costing & pricing for incoming new quotes by confirming costs of materials, such as different laminate colors, handles/pulls, PowerHubs, Fabric, etc. Will need to confirm: prices, if there’s a minimum order QTY, lead times, where does it ship from, do we pay extra for shipping or is it free?

-Find the best prices available for raw materials. Routinely pinpoint the highest cost items per product, and find new sources, better lead times, closer vendors to reduce shipping costs, etc.

-Work with current vendors to reduce pricing and/or find new alternative materials.

-Find new vendors to increase the vendor base/diversification

-For vendors who charge shipping and are located outside of the New England area, find more local options to reduce carbon foot print and save on costs.

-Update current cost of products in various documents, such as keeping the Master Cost sheet up to date and keeping pricing in Odoo and the Intellistore updated.

-Use Odoo (Online ERP software) to identify parts, update vendor information, update pricing, etc.

-Ordering Samples for Sales team (such as laminate colors, paint chips, fabric swatches, etc. )

-Help assist with Returns as requested by the Materials Manager

-Ordering of certain items as needed, on a case-by-case basis, would include creating POs and sending to vendors.

Education/Experience:

· Minimum Associates Degree in relative field OR 1+ years of related job experience.

· Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment & be a team player

· Very well organized and detail oriented.

· Must be skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· Great with numbers and negotiating

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
