Job Duties:
- Conduct daily debriefing with team members to ensure productivity and compliance
- Lead airport team to perform their work in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with Federal, state and local regulations including DOT, ADA, ACAA, FAA, and other government agencies as well as American Airlines and OALS policies and procedures
- Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust between team members
- Coach and mentor team members in skill development, exceeding customer experience and company culture behaviors, policies and procedures
- Establish and promote effective relationships with an external and internal customer base that fosters integrity, respect, and dignity
- Access operational environment and conditions to ensure it’s well-maintained through daily, weekly audits
- Direct opening and closing procedures, manage schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all work areas, delegate tasks to employees
- Communicate with upper management regarding operations and personnel
- Complete and submit Daily Tour Report on employee attendance, productivity, and daily operations
- Clean, stock and search aircraft cabins, perform and complete security checks mandated by the client, FAA, and TSA
- Ensure the familiarity with all areas of the operation and aircraft and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while complying with the company’s expectations, rules, and procedures
- Clean, mop, stock, empty trash, wash sink, hardware and backsplash in lavatories and galleys
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, brush seats, armchair positioning, clean and store literature in pockets
- Blankets, Pillows, Tray table cleaning
- Assure proper handling of hazardous materials, correct use of uniform, safety vests, earplugs, and safety behavior actions inside and outside the aircraft.
REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to speak, read and write in English
- The ability to pass a drug test and TSA fingerprint background check
- The willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work extra hours when there are operational needs
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days-off
- The ability to understand and obey all operational and safety procedures
- Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift at least 70 lbs.
