CAD Drafter Needed (Glendale)
SKILL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Use software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
- Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their
specifications.
- Update existing drawings as new information becomes available.
- Ensure product designs meet required safety and structural standards.
- Creation of technical drawings (block diagrams, single-line, patch details, cable numeration, element positioning in space, mounting details, etc.)
- Support Design Engineers in research and validation
- Assist in gathering of documents, technical data sheets, and manuals that are required for the projects.
- Assist with as-built drawings by combining the notes from field installation and information from the project managers.
- Any other related duties as required by the department.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Audiovisual, Fire Alarm, communications or Project Management
- Intermediate level of skill in AutoCAD at a minimum.
- Seeking 3 years’ experience drafting Low voltage systems.
- Good Knowledge of Office 365
- Revit knowledge and experience a plus.
- Legally able to work in the USA.
- Able to respond appropriately to delegation.
- Able to follow instructions and complete the required duties.
- Must be available to work overtime, when needed.

Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
CERTIFICATIONS (A huge PLUS, but not a requirement) Fire Alarm NICET, Arizona Fire Card
OTHER INFORMATION: Must have RELIABLE transportation to and from the jobsites. Must have a cell phone
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, as well as random drug tests
Must be a licensed driver
Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language.
