CAD Methodology Engineer - Test site, Albany, NY Job at HFC Semiconductor Corp.
HFC Semiconductor is a new 300mm fab startup company in Albany, NY focusing on advanced technology nodes. We provide a fast-paced, dynamic work environment that you can contribute, grow and learn with numerous opportunities.
As a member of our methodology team, you will take part in developing and supporting the design flow of testkey, test-macro test-mask in advanced technologies and will be working closely with process team and EDA vendors. Responsibilities include co-develop with vendors, tool customization, Linux support and development of new tools and flows.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years proven experience in analog/digital new product development IC CAD support using EDA tools.
- Programming/Scripting skills to debug flow related issues and make enhancements as appropriate.
- Knowledge of deep sub-micron FINFET and SOI process technologies and mask layout design.
- Programming languages: SKILL, PERL, Tcl/Tk, Python, C/C++.
- Must have excellent communication and problem solving skills
Education Requirements
- Required: Bachelors/Master in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
Must be willing to relocate to Albany, NY
