Your Responsibilities:
- Create an unforgettably positive experience for every camper (grades 1-8) and parent
- Be responsible for a troop of 15-25 campers, leading them from activity to activity and monitoring their overall happiness and safety on-site.
- Be prepared to come dressed in a costume each day, and HAVE FUN!
- Perform in daily assemblies that make writing topics fun and memorable
- Actively support teachers with their lessons, explaining ideas, making corrections and suggestions and providing plenty of words of encouragement
- Help campers write and publish their own completed e-books or blogs
- Lead morning games with structure and high enthusiasm
The pay and your day:
Adventure Guides are considered employees, and pay is commensurate with the local market rate. They will be on site from 8:15am – 3:15pm each day of camp, and be expected to be available to cover either Morning SuperPlay (8:00-9:00) or Afternoon SuperPlay (3:00 – 5:00) for additional compensation.
