**Incumbent eligible for a $500 signing bonus payable after 6 months of continuous**

Position Overview: Strong background experience and knowledge for maintaining and troubleshooting machine and process problems on hot and cold fill Beverage Equipment to include; Fillers, Seamers, Cappers, Depalletizers, Palletizers, Case packers, Refrigeration Equipment, High Pressure Boilers, HTST Pasteurizers, and Automated Liquid Process Systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
• Perform basic metal fabrication using hand tools, lathe and end mill.
• Repair bearings, belt sprockets, chains and gearboxes.
• Repair compressed air systems.
• Repair conveyor controls and devices.
• Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection, downline and fill room lubrication.
• Repair and inspect hydraulic powered equipment.
• Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when necessary.
• Conduct oil room storage cleaning and maintenance.
• Install and repair PVC, copper, stainless and steel pipe systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps and valves.
• Ability to weld, ARC and MIG (TIG desirable).
• Assist Lube Tech and other Maintenance Mechanics in the performance of their duties

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.

  • Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.

Education and/or Experience:

• Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training -or- equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.
