Cancer Care & Research Center Director Job at Lake Region Healthcare
The Director of Cancer Care and Research Center (CCRC) is responsible for directing, administering, and coordinating all activities of the organization’s cancer center teams. The Director of CCRC will lead operational accountability in all areas that make up the cancer program including radiation oncology, outpatient infusion center, cancer support and education. The Director will work closely with physicians and senior leadership to develop specific services for individual patients. They will implement and maintain established practices, procedures, and objectives.
A successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or business discipline. A Master's degree is preferred, but not required for consideration for the position. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum five years of demonstrated management and/or administrative experience in providing health care services, preferably oncology related.
- Knowledge of health programs, clinic/hospital systems, program development and budgets, product line management, research procedures, and general medical facilities operations.
