MANAGER BOARD OF CANVASSERS

Reporting to the Board of Canvassers, the Manager of the Board of Canvassers manages the clerical operations of the office for the purpose of registering new voters, maintaining voter registration lists and related records, as well as tabulating and certifying votes for all municipal, state and federal elections. Responsible for small office staff. Qualifications include, but not limited to, knowledge and application of election laws, rules and regulations. Associate degree from an accredited college or university with a specialty in public administration or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the election process and overseeing personnel; or a combination of education and experience that is substantially equivalent, knowledge of Microsoft Office products, the ability to work effectively with the public.
