What does a Car Washer at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Responsible for ensuring safe and efficient handling of customer and company/owned vehicles. Wash all customers’ cars and vacuum when told.
Leadership
This position does not lead others
Core Accountabilities
1.Wash customer vehicles and perform detail functions as directed.
2. Park vehicles as directed by Service Drive Greeters or lot attendants. Place keys in proper storage area.
3. Clean shop, service drive and wash area consistently.
4. Maintain loaner vehicles: wash and park in designated area. Inform management of any mechanical or body repairs needed.
5. Assist with snow removal as needed.
Competencies and Qualifications
High School Diploma- 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
- Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
- Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
- Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers
- Must be able to lift at least (50) pounds, bend, reach overhead, squat and stoop
