Job Summary and Qualifications

In collaboration with other members of the management team, the Cardiovascular Quality Coordinator is a licensed registered nurse who coordinates & supervises the Chest Pain and Stroke program activities to include regulatory management, quality outcomes, training/education, performance measures and metrics, patient satisfaction/experience and collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Regulatory Guideline adherence
• Policies and Procedures
• Performance Measures (STK Core Measures)
• Elements of Performance (TJC)
• Data and TAT management
• Performance Improvement Plans (PI)
• Patient Satisfaction – D/C Phone Calls
• Education
• Stroke Cart Maintenance and Education
• Code S Toolkits
• TPA chart abstractions
• Rounding
• Respond to CODE S calls

What qualifications you will need:

• Minimum 3 years Critical Care experience (ED/ICU/PCU)
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing (current Georgia RN license)
• Certification (or, attainment within 3 years after employment):
• (SCRN) Stroke Certified RN and/or
• (CCCC/C4) Certified Cardiovascular Care Coordinator and/or
• Georgia Stroke Core Curriculum
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
