Career-Technical Education Teacher

High School (9-12)

Description: The Charles School is looking for a High School Career-Technical Education Teacher in Information Technology for the 2022 - 2023 school year. The Charles School has a particular mission to urban students in Central Ohio preparing them for lifelong learning and informed citizenship through real-world experiences and rigorous academics. Fostering ownership and responsibility for their education prepares our students to be successful in college, the workplace, and other endeavors they undertake upon leaving The Charles School.

Location: The Charles School at Ohio Dominican University

Minimum Qualifications:

• All staff must be willing to work collaboratively with the schools small staff

• Must have Ohio Certification, serious inquiries only

• Pass BCI and FBI background check

• Hold valid license/certification for N3 pathway in Information Technology

• Able to develop community partnerships related to coursework and pathway

• Sound classroom management skills

• Will support Career Technical Student Organization - SkillsUSA

• Experience or willingness to learn how to use maker tools
