CARPENTER and HELPLERS Job at Legault Construction
About Us:
- Established, successful, General Contractor in Northern New York.
- In the construction business for 20 years with over 25 employees presently, and seeking to continue and to expand.
- Residential construction and commercial construction. High-end projects in Lake Placid, Upper Saranac, Malone, and surrounding areas.
Job Description/Requirements:
- Work week is generally M-F 7-3:30, with many opportunities for overtime. Four tens is acceptable in some cases per construction deadlines.
- Only basic construction hand tools needed, jobs are well equipped with all power and air tools.
- Seeking carpenter's, lead carpenters, and carpenter's helpers. Must have the drive to get the job done, while maintaining a safe, comfortable, productive construction worksite.
- Positive thinking, optimistic, team player.
- Qualified carpenter would possess good working knowledge of most aspects of building construction. For examples; stairs, rafters, trusses, general building codes and practices, etc.
- Must have good work references and at least two years experience as a carpenter/builder.
- Pay is competitive, and based on experience, attitude, and reliability.
- Occasional bonuses, and raises, based on job performance, and company success.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: On the road
