Carpet Cleaning Technician Job at Badger State Staffing
Badger State Staffing of Appleton is seeking a carpet Technician for a valued client in the area. The ideal candidate has strong cleaning capabilities and the ability to perform heavy lifting. This is a unique position with HUGE growth potential for an individual that has integrity and internal drive!
Responsibilities:
· Preliminary check of truck each morning stocking and loading the vehicle with equipment, supplies and products needed for the days jobs
· Drives to customer locations/jobsites
· Removes required equipment from truck in preparation of each job
· Reviews work to be performed with customer; Identifies and provides recommendations for additional cleaning services to customer as needed. Collects payment from customer.
· Identifies cleaning agents and tools to be used to perform the work and complete the service and other assigned work while being careful to prevent damage to customer's home, possessions, and property.
· After completion of work, reviews the service with the customer making sure the customer is satisfied and collecting customer's signature on appropriate forms & invoices.
· Returns all equipment to the truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment.
· Cleans truck out at the end of the day
· Completes paperwork for the day's jobs
Addition Duties: (These duties would be ideal for the carpet cleaner to assist with)
· Developing rapport and relationships with current and potential customers to grow customer base and obtain new and repeat business
· Ask for referrals from current customers to obtain new business
Qualifications:
· Effective oral communication
· Excellent customer service skills
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
· Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
· Exposure to carpet cleaning chemicals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
