• Location: Lubbock, TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.

• 
  Prepare construction sites tools and materials
• Load and deliver materials for projects
• Operate and handle construction equipment and machines
• Clean construction sites, remove debris & hazardous materials
• Assist in demolition and deconstruction activities at job sites
• Perform framing, drywall, and finish carpentry work independently
• Inspect work to ensure painting, other finishes, and touch-ups are completed
• On-the-job training and cross departmental training
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed

• Ability to communicate proficiently (written and verbally) with managers and team members
• Ability to remain goal-focused in stressful situations

• Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task
• Must be results-driven and team-oriented
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• 3+ years of general construction
• 1+ years of residential/commercial construction
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Regular and consistent attendance
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, reach, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to carry, push, and pull objects
• Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma (or G.E.D.)
