Boys & Girls Aid is hiring a full-time Housing Case Manager for its young adult housing program in Beaverton. This Housing Services team position earns a competitive salary starting at $18.56-$19.50/hr. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HOUSING CASE MANAGER
As a Housing Case Manager, you will have a rewarding job doing the following:
- Assessing the needs of young adults who are seeking housing stability
- Working in partnership with young adults to create housing plans that help them reach their goals
- Identifying housing resources and developing relationships with property owners, property management companies, and landlords
- Helping young adults to live independently in their homes and in the community through crisis intervention, counseling, and life skill building
- Maintaining relationships with a network of community partners that can support young adults' progress
- Making a difference in the lives of young adults gives you an incredible sense of purpose and that is why you love your job!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOUSING CASE MANAGER
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus two years of relevant experience.
- Lived expertise in any aspect of young adult case management is considered a valuable qualification.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
