Job Description:
SUMMARY:
The Cash Management Specialist establishes and maintains relationships with customers by providing financial transactions that are a “Wow” experience including, selling and servicing business deposit accounts and all cash management services. The Cash Management Specialist will partner with the Business Bankers in the Fargo / West Fargo market to place an emphasis on relationship sales covering both business deposit and loan products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Act as a single point of contact for customers by selling and servicing business deposit accounts and cash management services.

Proactively prospect outside of the branches and originate business from new and existing customers via business development calls, retention calls, and networking channels.

Act as a business deposit product and cash management expert in their market. Complete market training for Relationship Bankers and retail staff on business deposit accounts and cash management services as requested.

Provide ongoing training to bank personnel for recognizing cash management, credit card, and merchant services prospects, and to support product knowledge efforts. Participate in Branch Manager, and Lenders sales meetings as needed to generate leads, excitement and awareness of the bank’s product offerings.

Prepares formal proposals and analyze customer/prospects, request for financial proposals (RFP) and determining appropriate strategy and approach to crafting a comprehensive response designed to successfully obtain new business accounts.

Support the Commercial Bank’s efforts in analyzing deposit relationships with both existing and prospective relationships. Perform financial analyses using bank statements, merchant statements and/or account analysis statements to compare with the competitors.

Prepare and deliver customer reviews on existing customers.

Obtain required documents to provide to Relationship Bankers to help facilitate the opening of business deposit accounts.

Prepare and complete cash management agreements to successfully onboard new business customers or add new products for existing business customers.

Complete business customer training and assist in deploying new products for all cash management services.

Assist business customers with account inquiries, resetting passwords and provide instructions for customers using business online banking, including ACH, remote deposit capture, establishing automatic account transfers and other cash management products.

Develop and retain the business checking relationships to achieve business checking goals.

Assist the Senior Cash Management Sales Officer in completing the Annual ACH and RDC reviews.

Completes and prepares financial analysis to underwrite and risk rate each customers ACH and RDC services within approved limits for new customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree; 3-5 years of sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires working knowledge of ACH including rules, risks, and file formats. Candidates should be confident and consultative individuals with strong business acumen to serve our corporate clients.
