Cashier Job at Zamna
We're looking for ten cashiers to work in our event in Miami during Art Basel (1,2,3 December 2022).
General Requirements
- Timely responds to all emails, text messages, or voicemails within 1 hour.
- Utilizes appropriate online software—Slack, SmartSheet, etc. —as needed.
- Keeps phone battery power bank available at all times during Event.
- Should be able to deliver assigned responsibilities working in a fast paced environment, with presence of loud music, crowded environment, second hand smoke, and under any weather conditions
- Maintains a high level of awareness at all times
Operational Procedures
- Arrives at least 30 minutes before doors open
- Processes paying customers into the event at a fast pace
- Handles cash and credit card transactions with customers.
- Issue receipts, change, and refunds (refunds only with Box Office Manager’s authorization).
- Pleasantly deals with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintains clean tidy work areas.
- Posseses basic mathematical skills needed to give correct change during cash transactions, when needed.
- Performs assigned side work.
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight-hour shift.
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Communicates with management and box office staff immediately to rectify any and all guest needs and requests.
- Politely greets all patrons.
- Attends and participates in daily pre-shifts and other scheduled meetings.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment, in the presence of areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, dancing, bright lights, sun, rain and dust; and communicate during this time, sometimes within a small area.
- Acts as an ambassador of the company, marketing the company and all products offered to the targeted customer base.
- Provides help and support to all fellow team members.
