Ethnic Sales Planning Analyst
CJ Foods: La Palma, California
Main Duties and Tasks
- Analyze operating profit and gross profit of products
- Analyze operating profit and gross profit of sales office and channel
- Create and report monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales analyze
- Report daily sales performance
- Establish annual and long-term management plan (Sales Amt., Gross Profit, Sales Promotion expense, etc.)
- Manage Sales Amount and Gross Profit. (KE/CE)
- Research and review marketability for potential development
- Execute the promotion expense of the sales office
- Establish sales strategy of the sales office and channel (monthly/quarterly/ annual)
- Analyze monthly accounts performance & update key initiatives and provide updates to the internal team
- Support in setting up new customers
- Manage specifications of the products (UPC, GTIN, Pallet Configuration, Pricing, etc.) and secure changes in the price list
- Coordinate shipments issues (shortage etc.) and support corrective actions
- Create brand ideas and sales promotion (Advertisement, promotions, in-store-promotions)
- Support in creating strategic sales plans and marketing strategies outlined by the sales team
- Track consumer promotion and marketing budget
- Analyze operating profit and gross profit of products
- Take charge of samples including pre-production for sales calls
- Research and review marketability for potential development
- Plan for profitability and pricing of the future products
- Review & analyze the performance of assigned products
- Arrange various promotions and marketing tools
- Evaluate competitive brands and food trend
- Collate advertising budget to schedule appropriate timeframe
Qualifications/skills for the job
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Related Work Experience: Sales Planning & Marketing experience preferred
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Korean required
- Other Preferred Skills: Knowledge of data analysis and SAP preferred
- Other Required Skills: Microsoft Office, team player, flexible and adaptable to change
Main contacts and Communications
Internal: Ongoing communication with Sales Dept. for making decisions on sales quantities.
Ongoing communication with the SCM team for inventory management.
Weekly meeting with sales dept. to collate sales promotions and review outstanding issues.
External: Ongoing communication with CJ HQ for pricing and ISP.
Travel Requirement (%): 10% travel to affiliate offices (may vary depending on schedules)
