Our growing company is seeking a talented and experienced Category Space Planner / Planogram Analyst who will participate in the ideation, creation and implementation of sales-driving, consumer-engaging displays for Burpee products within the Burpee Retailer environment. Please note, this is an onsite position in our Warminster, PA headquarters.
As Category Space Planner / Planogram Analyst, you will be responsible for project management and completion of detailed execution plans, which include product assortment analysis, planogram development, fixture-graphic-display fulfillment, and in-store merchandising direction. Engagement in and fostering of strong collaborative partnerships with Burpee’s Retail Sales, Marketing, Operations and Merchandising groups, as well as key business partners within the Retailer environment.
The successful candidate will have exceptional project management, strategic thinking, and team collaboration skills. Must be analytical, organized and team orientated for successful achievement of position goals.
Responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with Sr Manager, Retail Experience in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations teams to determine the optimal “go to market” in-store presentation of Burpee products
• Provide analysis, insights, and merchandising opportunities to grow Burpee brand and category sales
• Create comprehensive Retailer planograms within planogram software
• Project manage and complete all detailed steps for display creation and fulfillment
• Function as the Burpee Retail Experience subject matter expert to the Retailer
• Work with Burpee Merchandising group to identify and problem solve for store level execution challenges

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in a Consumer Products Company (SKU Intensive category, Lawn and Garden/Seasonal Business, a plus)
• High technology proficiency, specifically with Excel and space planning software (JDA/Blue Yonder) or similar is ideal
• Innovation and Creativity - experience developing successful new business building ideas based on total understanding of the customer’s business drivers and go-to-market strategies
