Provider launched in 2002 and has served a multitude of industries such as: educational venues, business campuses, hospitals, churches, sporting facilities, and governmental agencies. We currently have the privilege of serving the faculty, students and staff at 9 locations in California and Texas.

We currently are in search of a polished Catering Director with the leadership and experience to oversee events at a growing university campus. The ideal candidate brings success in hospitality and operations. S/he needs to excel in:

The Director leads the booking, planning and execution of events at all venues on campus with the support of the F&B team. Guests include our campus community of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Events range from simple refreshment breaks to high end large scale events. We are food and hospitality focused. You can taste the love in our food.

From event design through execution, client relationships are key to supporting the overall mission of the campus. Successful candidates will demonstrate a hands-on approach and servant leader style focused on high quality food, service and presentation. Proven performance as a successful Catering Director in a dynamic growing environment, working with a diverse client base is essential.

• Training and coaching the Catering team to deliver the Provider Brand in support of the campus mission

• Maintaining the tools (smallwares, equipment, vehicles)

• Close collaboration and coordination with the Culinary Team

• Staying organized and on-track, when juggling multiple priorities and event locations,

• Controlling expenses - labor, food, equipment, and supplies

The position requires a person who is effective, positive and capable of leading through growth. Strong communication skills and highly effective on the move. The schedule requires flexibility, with occasional nights and weekends. Safety and quality are also high priorities in the work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, or equivalent experience in Events & Catering.

• Minimum 5yrs Event/Catering Management Experience.

• Strong culinary knowledge.

• Serve Safe Certification-must obtain within 60 days

• Live in commuting distance to Riverside CA.

• Excellent references.
