Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Pinehurst Country Club is looking for a talented and dynamic Catering & Event manager who will be responsible for our social and member events. This opportunity will have the ability to create the perfect wedding, business meeting and social gathering from intimate gatherings to large events. This role will coordinate with our culinary and banquet team, reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage.


Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited to



  • Actively solicit new business and respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable catering business
  • Conduct property tours
  • Coordinate sales to insure proper utilization of function space
  • Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through upselling and ensuring effective communication with all departments for the success of the event.
  • Ensure accuracy of banquet checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event
  • Oversee the set up and execution of banquet events. Ensure satisfaction in tandem with banquet and culinary team
  • Work directly with members and non-members throughout the duration of the planning process, ensuring all event details are planned accordingly
  • Act as a liaison for all vendor/supplier needs
  • Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings.
  • Review all function space with Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef
  • Plan, attend, participate in all meetings.
  • Uphold Pinehurst Country Club standards of service excellence
  • Make timely and impromptu decisions
  • Find solutions to inevitable challenges
