CDL-A REGIONAL DRIVER (HOME TIME ON WEEKENDS!!) Job at DDH Dispatching
Shift Details
- Schedule: 2 days off
- Days off will either be Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday
- Start Time: 10AM-1PM. Occasionally later start times available.
- Shift: 10 - 12 hours
- Home 1 - 2 nights a week in addition to reset (usually 2 nights but that cannot be guaranteed)
Job Description
Position Details:
- Drivers will pick up their load at a warehouse and deliver to stores.
- Delivering pet supplies to pet supply stores in CA, NV, UT, and WY.
- Drivers will be required to offload pallets at the stores with an electric pallet jack. Liftgates may be required at certain stores.
- Around 70% of the deliveries are to CA. Delivers will be north of Visalia all the way to the Oregon border.
- Loads will be pre-loaded
- Drivers will return with a backhaul after delivery
Special Requirements:
- Drivers unload freight with an electric pallet jack
- Liftgates may be used at some stores.
- Chaining will be required during winter months. (can be up to 5 times a week during the winter)
Truck Info:
- Sleeper trucks that are assigned
- Truck can be taken home for time off if the driver lives within 50 miles
- Drivers will not slip seat
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
