Position: CDL Driver
Reports To: Manager, Transportation
Position Summary: $1,000 sign on bonus !!!
CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting different types of our goods from our plants and distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. The Class A CDL Drivers needs to have at least (1) year of driving experience running dedicated routes.
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely transport goods according to schedule.
- Keep in communication with relevant parties.
- Perform vehicle inspection before and after a trip.
- Regularly check on product to look for potential damage causing issues.
- Flexibly change destination and/or timing depending on customer needs.
- Hook/Unhook trailers and move tractors as needed
- Follow Dispatch instructions and communicate as required, including but not limited to: delays, arrivals and equipment problems
- Recoup/ Restack freight if necessary
- Good MVR and safe driving record
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years CDL-A driving experience within last 3 years.
- All applicants must pass a DOT physical and DOT requirements.
- Medical Card
- Pre-employment drug screen.
- A copy of a current Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years is required and must be less than 30 days old.
- A copy of a current Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years is required and must be less than 30 days old.
- Must meet DOT standards for CDL drivers.
