Certified and Licensed Pharmacy Technician Job at White Hall Pharmacy LLC.
We are looking for great staff member who has a love to assist customers. You should enjoy making complicated situations simple and painless and have a passion for our mission in changing the pharmacy experience. This pharmacy cashier position is a pharmacy support position which may have the first, and/or last opportunity to serve our invaluable customers with the receipt of a prescription order, and/or the transaction to complete the sale of a prescription or any additional items needed. We are open on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm; as such, you will be required to join the team just one Saturday every month while enjoying a majority of you work schedule between 9am and 7pm daily.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Receive prescriptions and check their validity
- Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
- Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
- Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience as pharmacy technician (Preferred, not required)
- Experience with an online prescription system is a plus
- Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
- Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
