Accura HealthCare of Carroll and Accura HealthCare of Manning are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our team. Utilizing your culinary and customer service skills, you will cultivate your team while ensuring quality assurance, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction are top priorities. Accura HealthCare of Carroll is a 70-bed SNF. In addition, we have 28 beds dedicated to Independent Living (IL). We offer a family-style, team-oriented environment with new clinical leadership and a fresh remodel of our community.

Accura HealthCare of Manning is a 46-bed SNF that promotes employee growth at every opportunity. Our Administrator started with us as our Business Office Manager and is now leading the team while upholding our values: trust, integrity, accountability, commitment, and kindness.

CURRENT NEEDS: Full-time; willingness to travel between Carroll and Manning, Iowa.

Job Summary: The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) oversees operation of the Dietary Department to include staffing, food ordering, preparation, food delivery and sanitation in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, resident care plans and appropriate regulations. Responsible for directing various duties in and around the kitchen, promotes and demonstrates excellence in customer service and safety.

Qualifications:
  • CDM certification or willingness to obtain certification and/or other state specific requirements.
  • Restaurant leadership experience, especially within the healthcare industry, will help you thrive in this role.
  • Able to interact professionally, positively, and collaboratively with Dietician/Nutritionist and team members.
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
