Certified Medical Assistant Job at Winter Garden OBGYN
Looking for an experienced Full-Time medical assistant for a busy OB/GYN practice. The candidate should be well versed in the back/ front office of a medical practice, with knowledge of an OB/GYN practice a plus but not preferred. You will support the physician and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, organization, scribing for physician, scheduling and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Prep charts
- Intake patients
- Vital signs
- Scribe for physician
- Draw blood
- Order labs
- Stock rooms
- Schedule appointments
Skills
- Knowledge of EMR systems, Athena is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player
- Degree in medical assistance
Hours
- Monday- Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm or until the last patient is in a room
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
