Job Description Perform all required preventative maintenance. Perform repairs on the machinery in the shipping department. Monitor the machinery and dust systems.
Job Duties. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED.

Checker III - Forklift Operator
Regular work schedule is M-F 11p-7a with some extended daily hours and weekend work possible. Hours worked from 11p-7a will receive a .50 cent per hour shift premium.
These positions are eligible for a $1000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus for qualified applicants upon hire
Job Summary: Load, unload, store, inventory and transport finished goods and supplies associated with packing and shipping of finished goods using forklift, slip fork, pallet jack or other equipment. Check accuracy of item type, quantity and quality of all finished goods and supplies against shipping or receiving documents.
Skills Required: Must be able to lift heavy weights (up to 100lbs), read shipping orders, print legibly, perform arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply and divide 3-digit numbers), have basic computer skills and able to successfully obtain a Riceland forklift license.
