We are currently looking for a great Chef Manager to join our team of professionals at Eskaton Village Carmichael in Carmichael, CA. Located on 37 landscaped acres just outside of Sacramento, Eskaton Village Carmichael senior living community embodies the true spirit of community where residents enjoy the security of a worry-free lifestyle. Eskaton offers a variety of programs that give residents total independence, while still offering access to a full continuum of on-site health care. We are seeking innovative and passionate culinarians, to manage the culinary operations of our select senior living communities.This position requires early evenings and occassional weekend availability.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for the creation and development of innovative, inventive and ground-breaking menus;
• direct and manage kitchen operations and designated back of house staff;
• ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;
• control and ensure the company's and client's financial targets are achieved;
• engage with peers, colleagues and patrons in a manner that invites interaction and feedback.

• a passion for culinary arts, with a desire for creativity, a strong production background ideally in a healthcare setting;
• demonstrated experience managing a culinary team and exceptional human resource and supervisory/management skillset;
• commercial acumen and a good level of computer literacy;
• expert level knowledge of compliance in food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.
