Assistant Chief Nursing Officer - ACNO (RN) - $10K sign on bonus
WORK LOCATION: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Mesilla Valley Hospital is a free-standing 120 bed psychiatric hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico that provides mental health and drug & alcohol addiction services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Las Cruces offers a mild climate and the very best that nature has to offer with the breathtaking Organ Mountains and close proximity to the Rio Grande Valley.
Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) - Position Summary
The Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) provides assistance to the CNO in administrative and clinical supervision over Nursing Services including effective utilization of the nursing process to provide quality patient care, establish standards of practice, and provide effective fiscal management. Responsibilities also include nursing education of direct care staff.
Qualifications are:
- Current license to practice nursing in New Mexico (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- 3 years of behavioral health experience
- Supervisory experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting strongly preferred
