Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Salary: Commensurate with knowledge and experience

H-NNCSB provides a full array of person-centered services to youth, adolescents, families, and adults in Hampton and Newport New. Our comprehensive continuum of care includes Prevention and Early Intervention Services, Outpatient Services, Integrated Care, Day Support and Treatment, Residential, and Acute Inpatient. Our workforce is comprised of licensed staff such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Therapists and Nurses.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist performs direct psychiatric services to clients including comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy, medical evaluation services and medication, clinical documentation and reporting.

Requirements:

M.D. degree with specialty in Psychiatry and some experience in clinical/hospital practice in service to the mentally ill.

Licensed as a Psychiatrist in the State of Virginia, Virginia Controlled Substance Registration and DEA Registration. Board Certified.

Valid Driver's License.

The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.
