EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.Six (6) months of job-related experience. Any other combination of education, training, and experience, which demonstrates that the applicant is likely to possess the required skills, knowledge, or abilities, may be considered.LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification issued by an authorized agency.Valid First Aid certification issued by an authorized agency.Such certifications must either be issued by American Red Cross or agency authorized by American Red Cross to issue such certifications. Such certifications are initially required prior to employment and once employed employees are responsible for maintaining up-to-date certificates in first aid and CPR.DOCUMENT SUBMISSION OPTIONS: Unofficial documents/transcripts will be accepted for initial consideration. ELIGIBILITY LIST EXPIRATION: Candidates who are successful in all of the screening and testing process will be placed on an eligibility list. Typically, an eligibility list for a classification expires after one (1) year. Candidates on the expired eligibility list are no longer considered for positions within the class. Eligibility lists may be extended beyond one (1) year or expire sooner than one (1) year. If an eligible candidate successfully tests for the same classification before the current eligibility list expires, the eligibility lists will merge and the eligible's most recent examination score will be applied.
