Summary
Mission Academy is seeking qualified, energetic, and positive individuals to implement a Christian-based learning curriculum to our children, ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. Qualified applicants will assist in the daily care of children, building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff; creating a safe, clean, and inviting environment and ability to plan and assist in managing a developmentally appropriate classroom.

Responsibilities Include:
· Assisting the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans to meet the needs of the children in the classroom
· Creating a classroom that is fun and supports play and learning
· Maintaining a commitment to professionalism in all communications with children and guardians
· Providing proper supervision of all children at all times
· Assisting in diaper changing and potty training for younger children
· Ensuring that the classroom and work environment is clean daily
Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to pass a Background Check
· Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work both indoors and outdoors
· Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR Training within 30 days
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must posses organizational skills and operate within positively within a team environment

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
