Come join our family at The Growing Garden! We are a childcare center located in the business district of Tarentum. Our facility is in its eighth year of operation with a lively and committed group of staff. Our facility offers a before and after school program for the Highlands School District in grades K-5 and a Kindergarten Preparatory Program for those who are potty trained and at least 3 years old. We are currently expanding our offerings to those in the 1 and 2 year old age group. Our children attend daily activities including science, gym, reading, music, and art. Homework time and a pm snack are provided daily. Some cleaning is required as part of the position.
Candidates MUST be available Monday through Friday 6:30am-6pm for shift work based on the Highlands District calendar. Regular 20 hour per week during the school year for school aged and toddlers is a 30+ hour program. This is a year round position. Must be willing and able to walk to the park for outdoor play. All DHS paperwork MUST be submitted including clearances, physical, TB test, and others with a confirmation that you can work in childcare.
