Need someone reliable and responsible 21 years and older.
1099 Subcontractor Position requires using personal vehicle to make deliveries.
Requirements for position.... Must pass drug test(your expense), get HIPPA Certification if you do not already have one (your expense of $30), upgrade vehicle insurance to $100,000/$300,000 liability/bodily injury coverage.
Delivery Types
STAT Deliveries- Emergency deliveries within 30 minutes! One way from pharmacy to long term care facility. These deliveries can be called in at any time of day or even overnight.
ROUTES- Scheduled deliveries, contain multiple totes/packages with medications going to multiple facilities. Each facility has a set route that will deliver to it each day. We have 6 routes that are scheduled to be delivered to Monday - Friday and 6 scheduled routes to be delivered on Saturday. The routes range from about 3 hours to about 7 hours on the long end, for total time driving/delivering/working.
EACH ROUTE(DELIVERY) STARTS AND ENDS AT THE PHARMACY, EITHER WHEN YOU ARE COLLECTING MEDS FOR DELIVERY OR YOU ARE RETURNING TO THE PHARMACY FROM DELIVERING A ROUTE.
A ROUTE Delivery consists of...
Picking up medications from a long term care pharmacy in plastic totes, lunch style coolers, Styrofoam coolers, fishing tackle box style containers, paper sacks, etc.
Deliver medications to long term care facilities throughout surrounding areas of pharmacy.
Then drop off empty containers back at the pharmacy after last facility/stop on route.
Need to be able to drive for long periods of time and in BAD WEATHER if needed (no deliveries can be rescheduled due to patients needing medication), be able to lift non-heavy packages, wear uniform.
Pay
Paid per delivery or route, at a flat rate price that combines time, fuel used, and mileage.
Pay is weekly direct deposit after the first 2 weeks, based on the $23-$27/HR and cost of fuel.
