In this role, the cleaning attendant will be responsible for cleaning and making sure all food and beverage areas are thoroughly cleaned in preparation for the next upcoming shift. This cleaning attendant must ensure there is attention to detail when cleaning all food prep areas to set the team up for success. Using various types of chemicals to clean and disinfect different types of surfaces.

Job Description

● Ensure that tables, chairs, benches, stools, countertops, and sofas are cleaned nightly and organize neatly in preparation for the next shift

● Maintains the cleanliness of all F&B areas at all times

● Use CRL solutions to ensure drains are always clean and free from fruit flies

● Use appropriate chemicals to clean and mop floors to ensure oil, grease, and spills from alcoholic beverages are removed

● Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures

● Use gum removing tool to ensure floors and under table surfaces remain clean

● Use high dusters to clean bulbs, shelves, and artwork

● Clean all mirrors, doors, doorknobs, door frames, handrails, and commonly touched areas with disinfecting chemicals as per hotel policies

● Assist in the cleanliness and organization of all bar storage areas

● Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote an accommodating and harmonious working climate

● Assist in event set up by moving and arranging furniture according to the needs of the event

● Maintain high morale, productively and efficiency

● Restock all supplies used from cleaning closets to ensure the next shift is set up for success

● Move furniture as directed by management, including but not limited to: tables, chairs, barstools, banquettes, bar tables, boxes, and equipment

● Use heavy-duty equipment to polish, wax, buff, and shampoo floors and other surfaces

● Ensure restaurant/bar restrooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected

● Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance

Requirements

● 1-2 years experience as a House Attendant/ Overnight Cleaning Attendant in an established brand

● Be able to speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace

● OSHA certification would be a plus

● Be able to work overnight shifts as per business needs

● Be able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds

● Excellent organization skills

● Capable of working with little or no supervision and still maintain immaculate standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
