Team members may be required to perform tasks, which involve the safe handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials. S/he is responsible for performing cleaning and disinfecting duties while meeting or exceeding Detroit Maid's quality standards. Such responsibilities may include:

 Operating various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as
 vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.
 Cleaning offices, storefronts, unoccupied residential units, etc.
 Use safety precautions in all janitorial services
 Handling various cleaning and disinfecting solvents, chemicals, etc.
 Disposal of trash and other disposable materials.
 Dusting furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.
 Working in damp, dusty, and dirty areas
 Planning work schedules for client visits
 Sweeping and mopping floors
 Emptying trash containers
 Other duties as assigned

Cleaning Pro Qualifications:
 Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and competent in organizational, time management skills.
 Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all procedures and guidelines
 Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrates initiative.
 Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Physical Requirements:
The Cleaning Pro will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule. S/he must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
