Role and Responsibilities

  • Enhance the client experience by servicing clients and providing operational and administrative support to Financial Advisors.
  • Greet clients at the front desk.
  • Interact with clients through telephone, email and in-person meetings.
  • Resolve client inquiries.
  • Establish yourself as main contact for clients.
  • Assist clients with producing account opening documents and opening client accounts.
  • Update and maintain accounts. Provide ad hoc support to financial advisors
  • Develop relations with present and prospective clients.
  • Establish, document and maintain firm and client files to meet firm’s regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor account activities.
  • Provide regular customized reports and analysis to client or Financial Advisor team.
  • Educate clients on account services and capabilities (e.g., how to read statements/confirms, how to use Online Access).
  • Direct incoming phone calls to appropriate team member.
  • Input data into various softwares.
  • Input orders within appropriate system and complete associated paperwork, if registered.
  • Maintain contact management systems with up to date key client information.
  • Keeping an up to date calendar including daily, weekly, and monthly activities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements *

  • Willingness and ability to commute to our Capital Region Office and/or Lancaster Office
  • Veterans are highly encouraged to apply
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; College Degree preferred. Experience in the financial industry highly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license. Able to pass a criminal background and credit check.
  • Proficiency in computer-use and Microsoft office and ability to learn various software packages relating to the finance industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; strong typing and note taking skills.
  • Comfort with being a "team player" and doing whatever is needed, big or small along with being able to manage and get along with diverse personalities.
  • Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy.
  • Effective follow-up, deadline focused.
  • Impeccable ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
  • Exemplary planning and organizational skills; efficient multi-tasker.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision. Quick learner.
  • Energetic, eager to learn, excited to be part of a team-based atmosphere.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
