Clinial Technician, CNA - Oncology and Medical Job at Suburban Hospital
The Patient Care Tech / CNA will work within the Oncology Unit, a 26 bed inpatient unit that cares for medical and surgical oncology patients and dedicated to patient/family centered care.
The Patient Care Tech performs routine and specialized tasks in providing direct patient care under the functional direction of a registered nurse.
- Observes, monitors, reports and documents patient’s condition, symptoms, and reports to nurse as appropriate.
- Assists with patient care, such as personal hygiene, special skin care, ambulation, transfer and treatment procedures, including enemas, ostomy care, oral suctioning, catheterization, bed making, and sterile dressings.
- Observes and monitors vital signs.
Hours:
- Full Time, 36hrs per week
- Day Shift, 7:00am - 7:30pm
Requirements:
- CPR certification required
- Maryland CNA licensure a must
