Responsibilities

Behavioral Health is looking for a Full Time Clinic Administrator to join the Team!

The Clinic Administrator provides leadership, direction and administration of all aspects of clinic operations. This individual collaboratively works with physicians to establish clinical practice standards and assures regulatory compliance is met in all related activities. They maintain current knowledge of all clinic practices supported by this position and provides administrative and programmatic leadership for the practices in collaboration with CHI leadership.

What You'll Do:
  • Has the knowledge of the principles and practices or health planning and management sufficient to manage, direct and coordinate the operator of a health care organization.
  • Act as the Physician Liason
  • Has knowledge of the Clinic’s policies, procedures and computer systems.
  • Assures development of programs, policies and procedures that respond to the changing times in healthcare.
  • Maintains clinic staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains a broad understanding of the principles of financial management – uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Has the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Skill in organizing work, making assignments, and achieving goals and objectives. Skill in exercising judgment and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related area of study is required. Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Business is preferred.
  • Five years previous experience in physician practice management.

Pay Range
$35.65 - $50.35 /hour
