Clinical Coordinator ( LCSW or LMHC required)- 3836 Job at BronxWorks
BronxWorks is hiring one (1) Clinical Coordinator for the Living Room Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations of clients for housing applications
- Oversee Clinical Coordinators and provide them with regular clinical supervision so that Clinical Coordinators can accumulate clinical supervision hours towards qualifying for the LCSW
- Participate in, and encourage staff to become involved in, agency events
- Monitor program progress and submit all required reports related to Clinical Coordinators to funding sources
- Submit internal progress reports to the Program Director on a monthly basis, or more frequently as required
- Intervene in major crisis with clients, staff and agencies, ensuring well-being and compliance with laws and government regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- License Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) require
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Proficiency in modern business communications including personal computers, electronic mail, voicemail, facsimile and copier equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
- Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to climb five flights of stairs, if required to conduct home visits and/or fieldwork.
- Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents.
- Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation.
- Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work.
