The Clinician Intake Specialist will evaluate the recipient’s receiving services upon intake, throughout treatment, and for discharging. The Clinician Intake Specialist would make assessments to determine the direction of treatment based on the clinical findings of the recipient’s issues. The Clinician Intake Specialist will make the necessary clinical decision for the client throughout the service period. The Clinician Intake Specialist will maintain open communication with the Behavioral Specialist Team-Consultant to ensure treatment synchronizing. The Clinician Intake Specialist will also meet with the child and their family to determine the need for treatment and whether a higher level of care is warranted.
The basic functions of the Intake Specialist is to provide assessment, treatment, psychotherapy, case management and referral to broad range of clients. This may include both severely mentally ill clients as well as those dealing with adjustment issues. This may include a variety of treatment modalities including individual, couples, family, or group therapy. Clients can range in age from young children to the elderly. Support and education are provided for the significant others of the clients as well. These treatments are provided in accordance with best practice and professional ethics and boundaries. In addition, the licensed therapist will provide case management services and crisis intervention as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
