Position Summary

Performs routine and scheduled maintenance for office buildings and equipment, including but not limited to servicing dental equipment, painting, minor plumbing, and electrical. Determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Performs repairs and upgrades to office equipment and buildings, office furniture, and internal and external trains and train-related decor. Completes daily work record forms and job assignment sheets. Conducts tests and inspections of dental equipment to ensure proper functionality, quality, and performance. Responds to emergency calls. Performs necessary cleaning tasks at the office.

  • Performs routine and scheduled maintenance and upkeep for office dental equipment and buildings, including but not limited to servicing dental remodeling, and minor plumbing and electrical.
  • Determines necessary maintenance for each office building.
  • Performs repairs and upgrades to office dental equipment and buildings, office furniture, and internal and external trains and train-related décor.
  • Performs routine office inspections, looking for maintenance problems.
  • Completes work record forms and job assignment sheets.
  • Submits estimates or bids on projects.
  • Conducts tests and inspections of warehouse and office equipment to ensure proper functionality, quality, and performance.
  • Determines the cause of operating errors and decides how to remedy the issue.
  • Responds to emergency calls when directed by the manager.
  • Performs necessary cleaning tasks at the offices.
  • Operates tools safely.
  • Eliminates dirt and debris from the office floors.
  • Maintains dependable job attendance and can be relied on to follow through with assigned tasks.
  • Assists in the fabrication and installation of office furniture, internal and external trains, and train-related decor.
  • Complies with: Dental Depot policies and procedures; OSHA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; and HIPAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Position may be required to relocate to other Dental Depot clinics either permanently or on a short term basis due to office needs, on an as needed basis at the discretion of Management.
  • This position may complete other Administrative and Maintenance tasks as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience:

  • 2 plus years of experience in clinical equipment servicing and maintenance

Other Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, proof of valid vehicle insurance, and must have annual Motor Vehicle Record Check, as a condition of employment if employee operates any Company-owned vehicles or drives their own personal vehicle for Company business purposes. Move constantly about inside the warehouse to access machinery, equipment, etc. Determine the kind of tools or equipment needed to perform a job. Count accurately. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy. Apply common sense in performing jobs. Understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and to conduct routine oral communication. Organize and prioritize your own work schedule on a short-term basis. Organize and prioritize the work schedule of others on a short-term basis. Make decisions that have a significant impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside the immediate work unit.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Such as safety glasses, surgical masks and protective gloves
  • Sense of Balance
