Position: Clinical Support Specialist (Medical office experience preferred)

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Schedule: Monday to Thursday (10:30am - 7:00pm) and Friday (8:30am-5pm)

The Clinical Support Services (CSS) department provides administrative support to a wide range of behavioral health programs. We are seeking individuals to provide excellent customer service who are passionate about helping others. The CSS role provides a great foundation for those looking to grow in the mental health field.

Holcomb in Kennett Square, PA, is seeking a responsible person to provide front desk and administrative support to our busy outpatient clinic. Background in medical/behavioral health office desirable. Computer experience necessary.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Greeting all external and internal customers in a professional manner whether in person and/or over the phone
  • Checking clients in for their appointments
  • Collecting and recording client payments in electronic health record
  • Making appointment confirmation calls
  • Answering telephone console, screening calls and forwarding messages
  • Responsible for working cooperatively with other administrative and clinical staff members to manage client communication and needs, whether on the phone or in person
  • Obtaining authorization for services

REQUIREMENTS: Flexible on evening hours is a must

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

One year experience in medical or behavioral health care office setting or other professional business office setting which includes customer service and data entry.

Required Clearances: Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

NOTE: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted in lieu of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
