High Level Description:
We are seeking a Clinician to provide the individuals we serve with quality clinical services which include but not limited to state of the art evidence-based interventions in behavior management. This position will be reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services. The position is a full-time, 40-hour position and entails two evening shifts per week and one weekend day per month. The position is located at our Naugatuck office; however, time will also be spent at our various residential facilities both in Waterbury and Naugatuck areas. Salary will base on experience and credentials.
Job Responsibilities:
Clinical:
- Perform (run) monthly and quarterly audits utilizing Therap
- Maintain a schedule and prepare PRC and HRC packages for individuals due for review
- Attend/represent agency at PRC/HRC review meetings
- Participate in the development of functional behavior assessments and positive behavioral programs
- Maintain and complete data on excel as well as complete DAC’s clinical reports and ensure their accuracy
- Daily review of Therap incident reports and 255 for proper completion
- Participate in psychiatric appointment rotation as well as complete behavioral summaries for psychiatric appointments
- Prepare reports for individuals IP and Bi-annual meetings
- Participate in review of positive behavioral support plans and ensure plans are updated
- Ensure proper documentations and updates are completed following IP, Bi-annual, & quarterly meetings
Training/Support:
- Participate and teach DSPs mental health
- Observe and collect data for FBA’s
- Train staff on positive behavioral support plans and any updates
- Attend department meetings
- Participate in training staffs on the use of Therapy and behavioral tracking
- Model and train managers/staff on behavioral interventions to increase target behaviors/pro-socials

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, social sciences, or related field- Experience in use of computer soft-wares (Microsoft excel)
- Experience with the use of Therap soft-ware system
- Experience in FBA and BSP a plus
- Previous human experience a plus
- Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disability/mental illness
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
