We are offering a “Retention Bonus” up to $2,500 for qualified candidates (subject to normal payroll taxes).

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Operate Coordinating Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform inspection procedures with PC-DMIS software
• Identify non-conformances based on inspections
• Verify non-conformances with mechanical inspection
• Determines acceptance or rejection of products based on requirements
• Completes all required documentation
• Handle multiple and changing priorities
• Respond to written and verbal instructions
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Promote a positive image of Precision Aerospace
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate

Position Details

• Non-Exempt
• On-Site Position
• Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:00 am
• Overtime as necessary

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be US Citizen or have Permanent Resident Card
• Able to understand geometric dimensions and tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, specifications, and customer documents.
• Experience in surface plate layout and precision mechanical measuring tool use.
• Familiar with hand inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Mechanical inspection experience
• 5 years minimum work experience operating CMM and mechanical inspection equipment.
• Quality oriented with a hands-on personality, “do it right the first time” personality.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
• Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to handle the walking, lifting, bending, stair climbing, and stooping required to perform the job
• Possess a high degree of initiative and be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
