Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Follow work assignments and work schedules in completing and performing your assigned tasks.

• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc

• Assist residents in walking with or without self-help devices as instructed.

• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.

Certified Nursing Assistant Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to work independently and with a team.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Ability to multitask.

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th-grade education.

• CNA Certification (We offer reimbursement and internal classes)

Certified Nursing Requirements

• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

• Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.

• Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
