CNC Machinist A Job at Nova Biomedical
The Machinist A is responsible for the operation and set up of all manual and automated equipment in the machine shop.
Essential Responsibilities include: the ability to set up all shop equipment including the Manual Milling, Lathe and Handscrew machines; the set-up, maintenance, and operation of CNC Millers and Lathes (including tool offsets and editing of CNC programs); assuming responsibility for part quality and performing dimensional inspections while meeting set time standards; and assisting in the training of new employees.
Requirements: High School or Technical School graduate with at least 5 years Machine Shop experience. Must possess the ability to set up all shop equipment including but not limited to: Manual miller, Lathe, CNC Millers and CNC Lathes. Must be proficient with all shop measuring tools and able read/understand part drawings.
Second Shift Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
